
Emily Stubb is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and editor whose work spans documentary, commercial, and branded content.
Her environmental activism currently explores how humans and the built environment intersect with the natural world, with particular interest in our interactions around food. Her short documentary, Deserted, premiered at the 2019 Maryland Film Festival and can be streamed on PBS. And her film Oveja, will be coming to PBS spring of 2025.
Most recently, she worked as an assistant editor on Speak. a feature documentary that will premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and worked as and additional editor on Mola: A Tibetan Tale of Love and Loss which will premiere at the 2025 SXSW film festival. She is a graduate of Ithaca College with dual degrees in Documentary Filmmaking and Environmental Studies.
