Emily Stubb is a Baltimore-based filmmaker, who’s environmental activism explores issues related to food equity. Her short documentary, Deserted, premiered at the 2019 Maryland Film Festival, Global Impact Film Festival, and has continued to screen across Baltimore.
Emily is currently pursuing a broader investigation into the nations food landscape, expanding Deserted into a feature length documentary. She is a graduate of Ithaca College with dual degrees in Documentary Filmmaking and Environmental Studies. Conversations about her work can be heard on WYPR, WMAR, and Blak Boxx Radio.
Emily has a Bachelor of Arts in Documentary Studies & Production and Environmental Studies from Ithaca College.
